I'm a genealogy enthusiast, a Civil War & U.S. military history buff and have always had a fascination with cemeteries. I'm also a USAF veteran of the Persian Gulf War and a second generation hillbilly (Kentucky).|
I really enjoy being a Photo Volunteer and have found the Find-A-Grave experience to be very rewarding! 99.999% of the folks are very helpful and pleasant, but boy... I have run into a few square doughnuts out there!
My current Find-A-Grave projects are locating graves and updating existing memorials for members of two of my great-great-grandfather's Civil War regiments (23rd Kentucky and 28th Ohio Infantries, both Union). I appreciate all of the cooperation I'm receiving from my fellow gravers! I'm also helping to clean up the "Autograver" mess at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Most of my memorials are family, but I do enter military veterans and other graves that may catch my eye from time to time. If I have a memorial of a relative or friend of yours, send me a transfer request by way of a SAC. I don't follow FAG's transfer guidelines as if they were the Ten Commandments like some folks do. If you have ever refused to transfer the memorial of a relative to someone - shame on you. That's just plain mean.
Please feel free to use my grave marker photos for your personal use. ½

Thanks so much for the information. You have encouraged me to get back to filling in important bio information. Glad to hear that another family connection has joined Find A Grave. Sue

I'm glad you are better.
If you're up to it, could you transfer back to me any and all memorials that you have completed.
We are now doing things by section and lot. I have stuff if you are up to it.
I'm just glad to hear from you. I was concerned.

I do have a few requests on findagrave. That is all I can think of. I do appreciate your taking these for me.

Thank you for the transfer. Looks like I need to do some research.

Recently I did this and I believe I was able to locate your gr-grandparents. My cousins and I have been doing many photo requests and adding memorials and links of Farrars. See if you are able to now locate your folks. I think I found them recently.

I've only had this happen once before, but this same James also has a stone in the Coleman Cemetery in Falmouth, #133300314. Would you please add this in your memorial and I'll add yours in mine?

Hello, You might want to check out this grave listing to go with your burial unknown to see if they are the same person.
God bless, Brenda

You are very welcome. Since the rows aren't very plainly marked there, my sister and brother helped walked the section to find it. She actually took several photos along with some designed to help locate it. If you are interested in those and want to send me an offline address I will forward them on.
