Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Nebraska, raised in eastern North Carolina and after living in various parts of the U.S., I now live in northern Utah, just below the Idaho boarder.

Proud to be a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War(did not serve in Vietnam) and am married to a Veteran of United States Army.

Can't remember when I didn't enjoy going through graveyards. So being a part of Find A Grave is perfect for me.

The family names I'm researching the most are TEW, GODWIN, HAYES & JACKSON out of North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas & Florida.

OBERMIER, FINKE, WEIMER & AGGEN out of Nebraska, Wisconsin & Germany.

I've been doing genealogy for 40+ years and it is one of the things that I love to do.

You have my permission to use any photos that I have added to the memorials and that includes the Death Certificates. This site along with ancestry.com are sites to be shared. To insist on ownership due to my efforts to search and record would be meaningless to why they were created.

Thank you to those who have helped me out with my requests.

To those who get their britches in a bunch because I leave a Death Certificate on their memorials I say this. I am busy with a project, should one be left after it has been requested not to, don't take offense. There are many contributors and should your name beforegotten, just ask and it will be removed. Don't mean to offend and to receive demands that are mean and hurtful is not how I handle things. In nearly 7 years on findagrave.com there have been 3 people that have requested this. You can get further in life by being considerate and kind.

And I add this to those that want to sit in judgment of those of us who "Sit Around" on our computers adding memorials. You need to know this. The research put into these memorials are not done with a hap-hazard attitude. The research is done with going through oodles of records, cross-referencing and rechecking data. So get over it. It is our way of contributing and helping those that are not genealogy savvy to have somewhere to start. I do not apology for my memorials. I do not "Own" my memorials. I am a care taker until someone who is family asks for them. Wow, the judgmental sure chaps my hide...

Many, many thanks to the findagravers that have been so kind and thoughtful over the years....

RE: Luther & Iva Pope
You are very welcome. While at Spring Branch, I met a lady who turns out to be a distant Warren cousin to me AND a distant Blue cousin to my husband. She was placing flowers on her Grandmother Warren's grave. Her grand's maiden name was Blue. Thought you would find this interesting!!!

RE: Cain Cemetery
Could you please give me more info. What Cain are you looking for. There are many Cain Cemeteries. One Family is on the North side of the Cape Fear River and one Family is on the South side of the river. And the 2 Cain families have the same names and about the same and birth and death dates. A lot of researchers have tried to combine the 2 families
Thanks
Shirley

Mr. Turner
Luther Preston Register
The Death Certificate that you left for memorial # 83661735 is incorrect. It should have been left on Mr. Registers father's memorial page (Luther Preston Register Sr.) which is memorial # 115838097.

Wade
I transferred those Wade's to you and anyone that I could see that was related. Are there any other Wades in that cemetery that you would like me to transfer?
