Bio Photo "It seems to me that the earth may be borrowed but not bought. It may be used but not owned. It gives itself in response to love and tending.... But we are tenants and not possessors, lovers and not masters. The Planet belongs to the wind and the rain, to the sun and the seasons, to the cosmic secrecy of seed, and beyond all, to time."

My mother passed away in 1999 and I was the recipient of boxes and boxes of old photographs and memorabilia from courageous departed ancestors who emigrated here and my interest in genealogy began. Now, with the help of Find A Grave, I have been able to locate many family members' graves. Thanks for helping fill in the blanks. And now that I have become a volunteer, I hope to pay it forward.

RE: Sarah Paige
Hi again,

Glad the information was helpful. When you are dealing with documentation in the 1600's or earlier, much of it is inaccurate or questionable. Sometimes the best we as researchers can do, is to try and narrow down the available sources, either to only those that are primary sources, or at least to those that are the most credible.

Best Wishes,
Lucia

Thanks for the March/May catch. I almost think there was some reason why I had changed that, like I had found a contradictory record. But a birth record is the best source. Amy

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 10825951
Hello Charlene. I was not aware that I had done this. I thank you for letting me know.

After some reflection I believe that the problem lies with FindAGrave contributor DeadFred. If I understand the workings of the FindAGrave website, DeadFred created the memorial in the first place and listed the burial as being in the cemetery in Utah. Since my photo is attached to that cemetery it automatically shows up on the memorial.

I will contact DeadFred and ask him to correct the problem. If you are willing, I suggest that you do the same.

I will also let the administration at FindAGrave know about this problem.

Thanks,
David
