|Shirley Coyle||Lillie Alice Kitchens|
#19688308, Lillie Alice Spivey Kitchens - I thought you might like to know that the NC death certificate for Lillie gives her parents as Columbus Byrse and Talitha Spivey. Also gives birthdate as 10 Oct 1859 and death 30 May 1941.
Thanks for all the hard work you do with the inventory of the cemeteries. I have done some of that and it is very rewarding, but time consuming.

I would like to talk to you about their children and two other children John had.
Let me know how we could make contact in a less visible manor.

I notice my mothers name was listed twice and I thank you for listing her, I don't know if you knew her or not,but mother never used the name earlie and faye was Fae, thats the way mom always spelled her name, and she has a granddaughter named after her the the same spelling. So I just wanted you to know that she was already listed but as Fae D Cabe, which was what she choose after she married dad.

JoAnn I noticed you have some Carvers listed as being buried in the Carver Cemetery in Robbinsville Graham County NC. The following ones are not buried there
Julia Carver 1908-1913
Julia Carver 1878-1926 was actually Julia Carver Vance
Martha Roberts Carver 1849-1932
Deller Carver 1906-1906
They are buried in the Carver Cemetery inside of Smokemont(Campground) on top of a mountain behind their old homeplace in Swain County N.C.
Just visited their graves today.
I would appreciate it if you would correct this.
Thank you very much.

Thank you so much for honoring our kinfolk in this forum. I was named after Catherine according to my grandmother, Ethel Welch. One day I hope to visit their graves, but this gives me the next best way to honor them. Kay Huss Smith

|sshope03||George Towery Ledford|
Cemetery: Sugar Fork Baptist Church/Franklin, NC
Hello, You have George's birthplace as Virginia but my research indicates it was actually Rowan County, NC. George's grandfather William Ledford left Virginia in the late 1750's and moved to Carraway Creek, Rowan, NC. Rowan was split up later into several smaller counties including Davidson.
George's father was born there - John A. Ledford (Feb 20, 1750 Rowan County NC to February 27, 1826 Davidson NC)and then later George.
Thanks for all you do putting this information on line. It's a great source for me. Have a great day.
