I am a Cornwell. My Cornwells came to VA in the 1600's and then immigrated through OH and on into IL. My dad and I have been researching the Cornwell family for well over 25 years. Rather than focus solely on my line, I have had an interest in all people with the Cornwell name--trying to link them all together.|
I also have a particular interest in the burials of Clark County, IL, where much of my family resides. Please send any additions and corrections to my memorials using the edit tab on the top right corner of the memorial page to make it easier for me to make the proper corrections.

53855183, Albert Vaughan, my 2nd great grandfather's cousin. Could I have him transferred? Thanks!
|Sandra Dee||Angeline Cornwell|
Could there be some mistake in Angeline Cornwell's death date? If it is correct, she gave birth to my grandmother Rosie Keys five months after she died. I am not sure if my grandmother's date is off or my great grandmother's. Do you have any way of seeing Angeline's actual stone?

If you know Joy Cornwell a contributor to F.A.G. would you please have her contact me?
Hi Shirley, Thanks for all the work you have done to post memorials and images to Find-A-Grave. I saw an image on the above memorial today and wanted to pass along a caution. Over the last few days, I was locked out of many of my memorials because of images I had posted. The Find-A-Grave guidelines for images changed back in 2012, but I didn't know that. (You can read them in the FAQ's.) The new rules prohibit even "public domain" documents like the one you posted on this memorial. You can't post any articles or obituaries, and you can only post vital records that you obtained personally (not downloaded from a site). So, if you don't have a certified record or one you wrote to the Clerk of Court for personally, you can now be blocked from the Find-A-Grave website for posting it (even if it wasn't against the rules when you posted it). You CAN include public domain items by transcribing them in the text of the biography, but not in the images. It's particularly disappointing for me, as I sponsored over 100 memorials specifically so I could add these types of images to enhance our family memorials... and now I'm having to delete all those images to be inline with the new rules. I just wanted to alert you, as I know you are a conscientious member who isn't intentionally breaking the rules. You might want to go back and remove any images like this one (on the memorial above) so that you don't lose your account. ~Evey

You are welcome. It was a pleasure to photograph the Glen and Georgia Cornwell’s Memorial. I consider it a privilege to create a picture that will bring remembrance to our ancestors.

I wandered into and through this cemetery today, actually. The Cemetery is well kept, and I will go back sometime soon and wander through to look for your Request. She shows in the Findagrave record as buried there, and fairly recently. Shouldn't be hard to find... Also will include any nearby that would seem to be family. Jen C.

I am Ron Cornwell's wife and I have added a memorial for him and linked him to John and Edith (parents). I hope to add a few pictures very soon.

|Robert Tapscott||Rebecca Cox McNary|
The obituary given for Rebecca Cox McNary buried in Auburn Cemetery, Clark County, Illinois has been transcribed incorrectly. Her birth year was 1836, not 1830 (I checked a copy of the original newspaper). Also, her date of death is 14 April 1904 since she died the Thursday prior to the publication of the obituary (Wednesday).

I believe that you have entered the following for Millard F. Tapscott in Auburn Cemetery, Clark Co., Illinois:
His grave marker, which I have read, shows
These also agree with many other records.
|Tim Abrams||Cornwells at Rose Hills, Los Angeles|
