Everyone who knows me knows I love getting to know my ancestors and have spent the better part of the last twenty years devoted to it. Find A Grave has been a community that lets me share with other family members.
If a memorial that I maintain is a part of your family and you would like to take over the maintenance, just let me know by using the edit tab and leaving me a message or the information I need. Or if you have any additions or correction, ditto. I would like to keep our direct line of grandparents of course.
The family photos attached to the memorials in my care have been passed down within the family for many years. If you wish to use any of them, please leave me a message with your request.
Anyone may Contact Me by going thru "Edit" on any memorial that I manage and choosing the 6th option, "Suggest Any Other..." Please state that your message is not about this particular memorial and include the memorial # to which you would like to discuss.

Got your message.
I did take most of your information and post it to Joseph Jones site.
You'll see on the site where I added that his mother was born in England, and it was her mother that was born in Scotland and her father in Ireland. :-)
Thank you so much for the information you shared.
|Michael L. ||Inquirty about William S. Whiting picture you posted|
Good Morning Barb -
Michael Lowery writing. I am the great-grandson of WSW and found your picture of him that you posted, thanks very much. The source you quote for the picture is a 1906 Amerian Lumberman magazine. Over the years, I collected the 1908, 1910 and 1918 AL magazines with the history of the Whiting Lumber Company, and in the process of writing a book on the WLC. I have the original of the photo that you posted.
We visited the cemetary but didn't find the grave, I will follow up with the office to get the location.
I am curious about where you found a copy of the 1906 AL magazine and article. There is a reference to it in the 1908 AL magazine. When I get organized, I will try to post more pictures. Also I have many pictures of his wife, Caroline Loretz Link. Thank you for your assistance, if you have the time.

Thank you for the information.
I did link joseph Jones to his parents John and Katherine.
Also, would you happen to have a copy of the Death Record for Joseph Jones? If not, would you have information as to how I may get a copy?
BTW: I will be adding a picture of Joseph Jones soon, as I am assisting a relative of his, who has pictures and some information on her Jones line. (She does not have a computer).
Thank you much.

Your welcome. If you want the photo's emailed to you let me know. I think you can save them to your computer from Find A Grave. Feel free to use them for your family records.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. When I created the memorial all of a sudden there were all these other ones and I didn't know what happened to cause that. I tried to delete them and they would not delete. I even wrote to Find A Grave (no response from them) and then I forgot about it.
Barb, thanks for the information about William Morrison. I will post it to his memorial and give your credit.

You sent me an edit request for Alpheus Badger - are you related to the Badgers?

Barb-Nellie is buried in the May plot at Mount Carmel but there is no marker. I took pictures of the markers around her in case they were related-May, Mulcahy, Cooney, Castiller. I posted a photo of the unmarked grave. If you want it removed, let me know.
