I am a Cleveland, OH native who has always loved old cemeteries. I am a big reader, I love antiques and I collect stereoscope cards and antique postcards. I have many of cemeteries.
If I "have" a family member of yours, I'll be pleased to give you management. It's so exciting to find things you are looking for! :)
It irks me to no end when people here treat memorials like their personal property - like memorials are trading cards to collect and hoard. I am *always* happy to transfer, except when the person is my own relative (and no one is closer) or ones I have a special interest in. Even those I would fork over to a relative of any distance! LOL
I have even transfered to non-relatives with a special interest in the deceased.
PHOTO NOTE: I did not take the photos of Brooklyn Hts Cemetery in Cleveland. They were ALL originally transcribed and photographed by a very nice lady, Susanna Pretzer. She was completing a project to earn the Gold Award in Girl Scouts. I checked with her, and have permission to post her photos and add the names. She said, "I definitely didn't know how physically and organizationally demanding it would be when I started, but that made it all the more satisfying...The idea was to get the information to the people who want it, so go for it. If it'll reach interested people who might not find it where it is currently online or in hard copy at the Western Reserve Historical Society, then it's good." --Thanks, Susanna!
Another note on PHOTOS: I give my permission to copy any photos I have taken for your own use or for another site. There are only a few -of hundreds- that I have posted which I did not take personally. Just ask, please, so I make sure you are taking something I shot.

 | Calvary Not trying to nag, just FYI that we've cleared over 250 requests this spring and now have 600 requests—fewer than there were in June, 2012. We'd be happy to clear your request(s) but some/all do not have plot information. Please call (216) 641-7575 and obtain plot information. We most likely already have a plot map but will let you know once we have plot info if we also need a map. Thanks!Added by runner9 on May 15, 2013 6:07 PM | | | Mamaquilts
 | Collinwood fire I know that about 3 or 5 of the children were buried out of state (2 or 3 brothers were buried in NY) but don't know where. All the others are buried in Ohio. A few were buried in family plots in other counties. Most were buried in and around Cleveland. I gleaned this from the old papers. I started a list and will see if I can find it. | | | Diane Nichols
 | another Greenwood stone Please take the photo off of the Greenwood Cemetery memorial for Baby Girl Bailey. It is mine and I would like to replace it with one from my own file. | | | Diane Nichols
 | Borland photo Please remove my photo on the memorial for Oscar Borland. It is one you lifted from the USGenWeb site for Greenwood Cemetery, posted originally by me. | | | Brenda Reilley Hun
 | Harmon Thanks for leaving flowers on David Harmon's grave. It was so nice of you.
I really like what you have written in your profile here. It is true about some that hoard. My friend's dad passed away and someone added his memorial before I got a chance to do so.
Thanks again. | | | Bonnie Gubas Holub

FOR SIX MONTHS I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO HEAR FROM LAKE VIEW TO VERIFY THE NAMES AND LOCATIONS OF THE KIDS BURRIED THERE.
ON THE SHEET I SENT YOU UNDER REMARKS I NOTED WHER I GOT THE INFORMATION FROM. IF IT HAS A SECTION,ROW,GRAVE NUMBER I GOT THAT FORM LAKE VIEW COMPUTER. THE MASS GRAVE SECTION IS 25 ROW 599 WHERE MANY OF THE KIDS ARE. AND IF IT JUST SAYS LAKE VIEW I GOT THAT INFO FROM NEWSPAPER,BOOKS,FIND A GRAVE REMARKS. THAT'S WHY I WENT TO LAKEVIEW TO VERIFY THE ONE'S THAT JUST SAY LAKEVIEW IN THE REMARKS.
