Patrick T. Kemp
Hi Jacquie:
I have been searching for my brother Pat Kemp and came across your posting for Patrick T Kemp. My brother's middle initial was N, however he used several names. The birth year is the same. I would appreciate any information you can give me.
Thank you.

RE: James M. Tucker (#50335235)
Hi, Jacquie
Yes, he was a cousin in my family history. My mother, Ida Phern (Rhea) Matthes, was the granddaughter of Ezekiel Moses Rhea and Martha Ann (Campbell) Rhea. Ezekiel's sister was Hannah Roswell (Rhea) Tucker, who was James Milton Tucker's mother.

How can I help you?

RE: Smalley family
Occasionally organizations such as genealogical societies honor someone who has made significant contributions to the field of genealogy. The TSGS recognizes such people at their annual conference by awarding them the title of "Fellow" of the society. I received the reward in recognition for using genealogy in my classroom and for assisting my students in preparing family history projects that were entered in the annual contest sponsored by TSGS. My students won first place every year that we entered a project. Unfortunately, due to curriculum changes, it is now virtually impossible to devote any time to such projects.

Smalley family
I notice that you were looking for descendants of the Smalley family. I am a descendant of Benjamin Smalley (1787-1856) and his wife Mary "Polly" Ligget Smalley who are buried in Fayette County, Texas. Benjamin was an older brother of Reverend Freeman Smalley. I am a Fellow and former board member of the Texas State Genealogical Society and have considerable information on the Smalley family.
