The following is from Albert Luchtman's memorial card. please add this to his memorial. please alsolink fmily members. If he is not part of your family please transfer him to me but I suspect he is also part of your husbands family as he is mine.
Mr. Albert C. Luchtman, well known Macomb County farmer, passed away at his residence 18260 26 Mile Road, Washington, Michigan, Saturday morning at the age of 76.
He was born in Macomb Township on Janurary 31, 1878, a son of the late Joseph and Louise (Schoof) Luchtman and resided in the township all his life.
Mr. Luchtman was baptized, confirmed and a lifelong member of St. Peters Lutheran Church of Macomb. He was united in marriage with Clara Wolf in 1910. The deceased served as president of the Washington Elevator Company for thirty years and the Pontiac Credit Association, which he helped organize in 1933, for a period of twenty years. He was also a member of St. Peters Mens Club and was very active in church work, having served as trustee and elder for many years.
Mr. Luchtman is survived by his wife, Clara and three children; Mrs Katherine Beyerlein, Myron and Miss Arleen Luchtman. Two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters aso survive, Louis, Edward, Mrs. Ella Penzien and Mrs. Robert Havel. Three sisters Mrs. Ida Klockow, Mrs. Emma Vick and Mrs. Caroline Arndt predeceased Mr. Luchtman.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, June 1 at 2 pm from St. Peters Lutheran Church, Macomb, with the Reverend Herman Brege officiating. The remains will lie in rest at the Will & Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens, until 11:00 am Tuesday, in state at the Church from noon until time of service. Burial will take place in the family lot at Clinton Crove Cemetery, Mount Clemens.
