RE: Riverview Cemetery
Hi Bev,
It has been awhile nice to hear from you. The cemetery was founded in May 1869, the first burial was August 12th 1869. There is a large number of older burials there that were removed from the old city cemetery, and also family cemeteries. The is not much info on those burials that were moved, no records or permits most cases just a names and dates. What were the names you were looking for and I will check my other records for burials in the county.

Ethel L. Stoneking Find A Grave Memorial# 12915207
I just found out from Grant Stoneking's obituary 1939 that this was his daughter so I would like to have her.
Also found out brother Sherman was living in Florida at time. So I have found information on him. He died in Jacksonville July 7, 1951.
He also lived in Illinois between 1917 & 1926.
He was married to Ida Mae (Have not found out maiden name) B: abt 1891,Illinois.
In the 1930 census in Florida it says he was a widow. 1940 says he was divorced. Ida Mae was younger then him by about 15 years.
It also says Grant's brother Everett was living in Illinois at time.
I would appreciate having Grants daughter transferred.
I will let you know if I find any more.

RE: Eliza Stoneking Truitt
I talked to my Aunt yesterday. She had gone to the Historical Society in the afternoon. She says they do not have any death certificates before 1869. So I guess the best bet is obituaries in papers of the times. She is going to talk to them about that.

RE: Eliza Stoneking Truitt
I just found the information on Samuel remarrying in 1856 yesterday somewhere on net and that he had died shortly after. Also that Susannah had died in 1853. I have the number for the cemetery in Lawrenceburg and I just called and left a message.
Hope they get back to me.

RE: Eliza Stoneking Truitt

My GG Grandfather was Andrew J.. Henry Williams brother.
I have done a search of all of the Stonekings in Indiana on Find A Grave and no Samuel or Susannah.
My Aunt lives in Versailles. I am helping her and will be going to stay with her again to do more research.
My Great grandfather Ulysses Grant Stoneking and grandfather Edward Stoneking are buried in Greendale Cemetery in Osgood. Andrew is buried at Mud Pike.
Information I have says Samuel was buried in Greendale Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
