Hedges Family
Steve,

Thank you so much for the fabulous pictures of my cousins, Mertland McLain Hedges and his wife, Emeline S. Roberts Hedges, son James Robinson Hedges and his wife, Mary M. Hedges and son, James Hedges, Jr. Had no idea I had family in Chattanooga! I appreciate you taking the time to take all these photos and for creating four memorials for Emeline, Mary, James R and James, Jr. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the offer of a transfer, but I respectfully decline. She was a relative on a maternal line, far removed, I just wanted to get links established when possible. I am up to my ears in memorials for unclaimed CW soldiers, so my plate is full. Thanks

Thanks for the photo of this distant family member. I have been out today helping with the taking of photos of Civil War soldier graves for Find A Grave in my area. I understand the amount of effort involved in this and appreciate your effort. Thanks

Steve, thank you for the pictures of Ida's grave plot. It is disappointing that she doesn't have a headstone, but I really appreciate the pictures of the area in which she is buried. Also, you went an extra step by checking with the office, and I thank you for that.

Steve, this is so much appreciated! I live in OkAlahoma and would love to come to Chattanooga but I could've never found this marker. Do you recall if it looked like there was an initial after the name Mary? It kind of appears that way in the photo. So would you say possibly she and Gabriel are in the same family plot? Thank you for your contributions to findagrave. All the best, Lynne
