Poplar Run Cemetery
Scot, Hello, I am so sorry for the loss of your partner. It is so hard to lose those we love.. I am looking for a distant relative and noticed that you have listed his daughter on Find a Grave. I feel like he is buried in the same cemetery and close to her but cannot find him in the names. I am wondering how familiar you are with Poplar Run Cemetery? If you would have happened to see his name? I know it sounds silly but as a fellow Find a Grave member, when I keep going back to the same cemeteries, the names start to become familiar. I am looking for John L Fowler 1843- 1890's. His daughter was Maggie Fowler 1881- 1892.
Thank you,
Maryann

John Monroe Moore Children 3-8
Here's what I'm finding for the younger children. Does it line up with what you have?

3)Henrietta Elizabeth Moore #52217095
4)George Washington Moore #25108033
5)Robert A. Moore—haven’t found him yet.
6)Maurice D. Moore #60213661
7)Joanna Moore born Sept 12, 1868 died Jan 12, 1916 in Fleming Co, KY. #25126741; married Isaac M. Ross #25126718 (Both parents are listed on her DC)

Children of John Monroe Moore
I believe the two older both married children of James W. Kendall and Martha A. Schoolfield:
1)John N. Moore, born abt 1859. I have an obituary from Mary Lillian Moore, stating she was born October 23, 1856 in Bath County, KY and married John Nelson Moore on Nov 15, 1881. She died December 2, 1941 in McLean IL . Obit states burial was in Mt. Tabor, Ewing KY. Find-a-grave memorial # 25108135.

I know from the census she was widowed by 1900. I found a report of a fatal accident and death notice from a Maysville KY newspaper in March 1899 for John N. Moore. The accident was near Fairview, which is where John Monroe Moore’s farm is. I think # 25108067 is him even though the middle initial is off.

2)Susan M. Moore—Mary Kendall Moore’s brother is John Robert Kendall, # 111886174. His wife is listed as May Moore Kendall on her DC, with parents listed as Jerome Moore and Caroline McCord. She’s #111885338, born April 23, 1861, died Oct 31, 1934. I think she's Susan M. and she goes by May just like her mama went by Caroline.

Children of John Monroe Moore
Hi Scot--Do you know if all of the children of John Monroe Moore and Caroline McCord have been accounted for? I think I may have the older children, John N. and Susan M.

Holy cow, lock the gate. LOL I know Issy, he was at the Marysville Cemetery taking pictures earlier this summer. Maybe he got some pictures mixed up. He was out from Onterio living with his dad and looking for something to do. I suggested the Evergreen Cemetery. Gave him a map of what was left to do and he photographed about 20,000 headstones for us. I'll contact him and see if he will remove it. Thanks for letting us know.
Many Blessings and Happy New Year!
Rev. Larry

P.S. I am part of the "Quest" team and our objective is to photograph all of the headstones in Snohomish County. We have about 5,000 left to do. 2014 was a very good year for the Quest.
