I am Jacks cousin. Marjorie and my mother Dorothy were sisters. Was wondering if you had any pictures of her. Maybe George might have had some.

RE: Charles Gles parents?
Hi, Susan
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. My email is if you want a quicker response.

Not sure exactly who you're looking at, on here or ancestry. But "my" Charles was Charles Hamilton Giles, born in Canton, Mississippi shortly after John and Christine Frances arrived from London. His next older bro (my ggfa), George, was the first of the children born in the US, 1871. The family then moved to Denver, Colorado Territory, in 1872 where John had a carriage painting shop. 1880 census they're in Breckenridge, Colorado.
I have a handwritten account of her children with John written by Christine Frances. He brought several more from a previous marriage.
Charley was a Denver policeman for many years. Married at least three times I know about.
If you're on ancestry, here's a link (hope it works).
It's possible we have two different Charlies!

Hi, I'll look again next time I'm out there (this time for a Hail!) but it's a small cemetery and I think I looked at all the headstones. Barb

Samuel Hall, Merriman, NE
Hi Susan. I walked the entire cemetery and couldn't find a headstone for Mr. Hall. There are many many graves marked only with a cross. I'll see if I can find who might have a list of everyone buried here. Just wanted to let you know. Barb

RE: Michael Dota
Thanks for all your effort! I know it is kinda tough to take a pic of something that isn't there. I was best man at his older brother, Art's, wedding in 1968, but unfortunately Art died 10 yrs ago so I have no source for discovering what might have gone on with Michael's burial. I never thought to ask Art before he died.
