I have been researching my family for over 25 years. Any photographs you find on the memorials that I have posted are yours to use on your family tree...after all, they are your relatives, too (credit is appreciated).|
I am glad to transfer any memorials that are your family unless they are related closer to me or my husband.
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

|luvpiggy||Anna Maria Dietrich Getgen|
I recently found out that Anna Maria Dietrich Getgen is my fifth great grandmother. I am having trouble tracing her parents. There are several trees that mislead me to believe that her parents were Maria Catrina Schneider and either Johann Ludwig Dietrich or Johann Adam Dietrich which lead back to Martin Stupp being my 8th great grandfather. I do not see any evidence that is true now. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

You are welcome. I have been working on the Wilson and Berlin cemeteries for a while. I try to take pictures when the weather is good and post them in the winter.

Hi - I'm glad you found their memorials. I have been working on that cemetery for some time, and will again when the snow clears. Do you have other relatives buried there? Best, David Edsall

Beverly - Thanks for your kind remarks. Your comments regarding J.D. is further testament to his outstanding character. Without doubt, he and Ruby were Good Folks!

Hi Beverly, I transfered Hanna's Memorial pg. to you. Samuel is already under your care. Have a good Fall Season.

You are welcome.Yes, you may use the photos, no need to give me credit. If you would like me to transfer the memorials to you I would be glad to. My purpose is just to get the info out there for families and I enjoy the search and being outside.

No problem! They were all right together at the west edge of the cemetery (with the exception of James and Victoria who were near the center).
