I started working on the family trees, of my husband and myself, about 50 years ago. I was never told that there would be no end to it.|
My children gave me my first computer for my birthday, this year. (2010) I am having the time of my life. Find A Grave is the best thing that ever happened to a genealogist. Pushing buttons is much better than reading film until your eyes cross.
Most of the memorials I have added are not my family. I will be more than happy to transfer those to anyone who can add information and/or pictures. You do not have to be related. A good friend is better than nothing.
Please do NOT add death certificates to my memorials. Just ask for a transfer and then when it is your memorial you can add anything you like.
Please send documentation with your edits. I don't change my memorials without documentation. You may prefer to ask for a transfer and that will be fine as long as it isn't my family.
Please, please, please use the edit in the upper right hand corner of the memorial you wish to have edited.

Thanks to Lela Koch, burtonjr and find a grave,Ihave been on this wonderful genealogy search.. I was but 6yrs of age when my father passed. Didn't even know where he was buried. I since then visited his grave site and have traced my family back to early 1800's. A thousand Thank yous.

I have removed the death certificate as requested. A simple request would have sufficed.
|Teddi Essig||RE: Pictures|
Someone else has 'claimed' it and I had to wait until their claim was cancelled. We only have 10 days to fulfill the claimed request. When I was at the cemetery I took the pictures anyway 'just in case'. Merry Christmas

I want to thank you for the transfer of John Leddy's memorial to me for its safekeeing. It was such a nice suprise. The Leddy family is connected through my paternal Armstrong line.

Is Mattie one of your kin folks? If so then we are cousins!
I have information on her and her parents and also great grandparents.

Hi Lela - I've added the bio you sent and some additional info to the dates and places of birth and death. It sounds like you adapted the bio from the "History of Danby" where the name is spelled Parris. I've been attempting to add bios to all my Danby memorials that are in the "History of Danby" but it's taking longer than I thought it would. Thanks for the help.
|Darius Cervantes||RE: The Rosenbaum History Book|
I am a descendant of the Rosenbaum line...I have been doing some research and that sounded very interesting.
