Myrtle Seamans Norvell1886-1918
I would very very much appreicate some information on this dear lady - I think she might be my grandfather's mother. My grandfather was born in 1914 and his momma - Myrtle - died in 1918. 1. I have a ordered and have just received a certified copy of Myrtle's death certificate from Missouri - and on this document her mothers name is stated as Laura Stewart not Mary Almeda Reding. Can someone confirm who is Myrtle's mother. 2. Also on this death certificate dated 1918 it says Myrtle's marital status is "D" - for divorced and she died in Joplin. However the Arkansas 1910 census shows that Myrtle was living with her Father Alexander Norvell along with her 3 little daughters and she was M for married - while Albert Pierson Seamans was living in Joplin with his mother Sarah Elizabeth Seamans in the 1910 Missouri census. I am not clear what happened with Myrtle and Albert between 1910-1918, their martial status and the 1914 birth of my grandfather.

Thank you for the info and picture. I can transfer management of this memorial if you want.
This is what makes my hobby so interesting, hearing from a family member who is looking for information. Maxine Yeager

Hi John,

I have transferred the family over to you. I'm always happy to transfer so please don't hesitate to ask.

Take care and have a wonderful day. Thank you for your service to our country. My husband served in Vietnam and has Agent Orange related cancer, so I know firsthand the sacrifices our veterans have made. God bless you, Sir.

I went back to the transcript and checked it and it listed his parents the way I had entered them. I have transferred him over to you as I have no way to verify information. There are others in the family that I can transfer if you want. Just let me know.

Take care and have a good weekend!

Would you like to manage Michael Prayne's memorial? If you are a relative if Michael's I would be happy to transfer control of it to you.

WOW! How very interesting. You certainly are descended from some very brave, heroic men. Their sacrifices, as well as your own, are not forgotten. Thank you so very much for your service.

Would you like a transfer of his memorial?
