WOW! How very interesting. You certainly are descended from some very brave, heroic men. Their sacrifices, as well as your own, are not forgotten. Thank you so very much for your service.
Would you like a transfer of his memorial?

Thanks for the information. I usually catch dates like that. I'm glad you caught them for me.
My father and husband were both USAF. They both retired at Lowry AFB, Colorado, 4 years apart; both as Master Sergeants.
I live in Colorado Springs, about 5 miles south of the Academy.
Thanks for your service.

Thank you for that photograph of Aunt Byrd that is how she looked when she came to visit our family from Arkansas to Portland, Oregon in about 1958. I have been a little ill the past few months but am feeling better and am back at doing genealogy again.

You are very welcome. I don't mind transferring to relatives even though they are not close ones. I think family needs to be with family
|JG Turner||RE: Virginia P. Norvell-Moore|
How are you kin to the Norvell family, Joseph and Mattie who are my grandparents buried in Leon, Ok. I found a John Wallace Norvell 1898-1978 married to Tommie Faye Oliver 1898-1990. Do you know them?
Thanks Judy Turner

This is my mother and she is not buried in Red Oak, that I where we lived. She is buried in Laurel Land in Dallas, Tx. by my father Paul Thomas Peyton Geffs andmy stepfather Franklin Bernell Moore. She has 5 brothers and sisters all but one is gone, Uncle T.J. Norvell who lives with his wife Aunt Delene in Pleasant Grove. Please transfer this account to me so I can update the information to be correct and my grandfather Joseph Theodore Norvell, my papa. I did not find one for my grandmother, her name is not MARTHA, it was Mattie Jane Davis-Norvell.

Thank you for the transfer. I really appreciate this.
|Del Groves||Norvel Elliott Miller #61871636|
Because his birth is before the birth of the father of William Middendorf Miller #53748441, it seems unlikely the two are brothers and, William's brother Norvel is quoted in the 2008 obituary for William.
