Maude Lela Wikle Yarborough
Hi! I noticed your message to Ann Broadbent about my uncle's sister Maude, and not knowing where she is buried. It is at Sawmill Hill Cemetery. I copied her obit for you:

Maude Lela Wikle Yarborough, 92, of the Needmore community, Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 in a Swain County hospital.

A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl DeHart Wikle and wife of the late William E. Yarborough. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mae McHan, Nancy Jane King and Pauline Sutton; and two brothers, Elvert Wikle and Earl Wikle.

Sur viving are her sister, Edna DeHart Sutton of Bryson City, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. The Revs. Max Cochran and Phil Robinson officiated. Burial was in Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
The family received friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

RE: Medfor Cemetery, Tippah County, MS.
Dear Soul Seekers. I apologize to YOU for such a delay in my response. The Cartwrights have been my family, and my passion, for many years. I have done almost no work on the Medfords, although I have noted their names in passing. If you are on facebook, join the Tippah County Historical site and follow others who are interested in our mutual families. Shirley (Cartwright) McKenzie.
