I have lost some dear family members. Since I lost my son at times I feel I can't go on. I found this beautiul poem on a fellow member's bio page and it meant so much to me I wanted a copy of it.
This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):
Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.
God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know

My name is Carole (Wright) Wallace. I am Beulah Wright's daughter. Beulah was Earl's girlfriend from the early 70's until she passed away in 1983 after which he and I still had a close relationship until I moved to Paris,Illinois in 1998. He was the only father I had known, my own father passing away when I was 5. I wish I would have been notified of his death, it would have meant the world to me to be able to say goodbye to him. I know life somehow always gets in the way and there is always the "Maybe next week" being said. However, I miss him dearly, and many things that my mother had bought for him I would have loved to have for they would be full of memories of the two of them.Would you happen to know what may have happened to those things that were at his house at 1104 south 11th street? I know this request sounds weird, but, I was just made aware of his passing am i'm a bit shook up.I thank you for placing this memorial of him on here. That was very thoughtful of you. If You would, please email me and hopefully you can answer my questions. Thank you
