Hello to everyone. Im from NC, born and raised.|
Im a retired law enforcement officer. It was an injury sustained that caused the early retirement. I took up geneaolgy as a
research hobby for information on my mothers side. Now Im hooked. I love fullfilling volunter
photos. It makes me happy to make someone else
smile. Photographing cemeteries is such a soul searching time for me. I want to think the founders of Find A Grave for having this oppurtunity for all of us to share.
God Bless Each and Everyone.

Can you check cemetery records to see if there is a FRANKIE cALLOWAY buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery? According to Frankie's death certificate, he is buried here. He is a son of Eula and James Calloway death 1952. If so, can you add this to the listing. Thanks, Janis Webb Babb
Kelly, have sent 2 requests through your EDITS on your profile page, this way you won't have to retype any thing, in linking the families together.
Thank you, Merry Christmas,

|Karyn Buckner Garvin||Please move photo to correct entry|
Hi, the military marker photo on the entry below is on the wrong memorial (it was put on the father's memorial by mistake):
please move it to the son's memorial here:
|Carroll||Jim Lance #42079613|
Buncombe county NC cemetery Inscriptions list Jim as being buried in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Skyland and not in New Salem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Swannanoa. I have visited this grave site and know it is in Skyland. Please change This to reflect the correct cemetery.

Here is the link to the photo posted on Find-A-Grave site. Your name is listed/credited as being the person posting the photo of Margaret "Peggy" Taylor McCoy. You did not take the photo because it is from the 1800s.
It would be great if the photo is of Randolph McCoy's wife, but there is dispute on a Facebook group that it could be her.
Thank you for responding so quickly.

I'm interested in where you obtained the photo that you have listed as Randolph McCoy's mother, Margaret "Peggy" Taylor McCoy. This photo has been copied and posted onto a Facebook site and listed as Randolph's mother, I trace it back to you. There is discussion on there how that it can't be her, for various reasons. If you have a FB account, I can add you as a member if you want to add to the discussion.

This may not be your problem, I'm new and have noticed that there are 2 almost full listings of interments with the different names. Many of these folks are my ancestors and are buried only one place. I have been there, but do not have an official name or the GPS location. I wish someone could/would fix this.
Hi Kelly...thanks for getting back to me. I guess the first question is if you are related to Dollie Waldrop or Ethel Treadway? Ethel you have photographed at Old Station and that is my friend's grandmother. I have seen various spellings of Waldroup and they all seem to be related to his Waldrop connection. Dollie was married to a John B. Davis who had a son named Paul Howard Davis. Paul Davis and Ethel Treadway had a daughter, but never married. Davis is buried at Upper Laurel Baptist Cemetery. Anyways...looking to connect some pieces between Paul and Ethel...and to see if you are related.

Can you message me about the Old Station Cemetery in NC? email@example.com.
A friend is in town, from Michigan, to visit his grandmother's grave and I am trying to help with the connections.
