Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Lexington, MA, which may explain in part my interest in colonial history. I retired a few years ago after 20 years as a computer programmer. I generally photograph colonial cemeteries or at least the oldest sections of them. I studied early New England history in the 90s. My cousins got me interested in genealogy a few years back. I've always loved photography.

I would like to thank everyone who has offered corrections and additions as any new information makes the memorials that much better. I always want more info.

Please, when offering corrections or additions, include the memorial number as I have created thousands.

And look at the rules set down by Find a Grave before asking for transfers.

Don't fuss about spellings. One person wants the modern version, another person wants an older versions. I can't please everyone.

I usually do all requests within 24 hours.

Feel free to use any of my photos. All I ask is that you credit me for taking them. Please email me if you're doing some for-profit thing. And do not post my photos from other websites to Find-a-Grave. Ask me to do it. Thanks!

Josiah Blood Memorial# 24079780
I am looking to see if you are of any relation to Josiah and Mary Torrey Blood. They are my 7th gr grands and I'm working on making Find A Grave connections back to direct line parents and adding as many of the children in each generation as I can...
Just thought I'd ask before I actually got to these two :-)

RE: Rev. Joseph Belcher
Thanks, Bill. It's ok with me to leave it as is, as the inscription is nicely rendered. It's part of history.

You often can't tell which is cenotaph and which is real, anyway.

They are common in Cleveland, affecting multiple of my hubbies' Frenches buried in Lake View Cem. up there. The Findagrave person said not to delete one, to let them both exist, simply mark as possibility of cenotaph and, if desired, link the two pages.

(There had been a grave-robbing incident involving an Edwin French, so three cemeteries were ultimately involved for that one person as the body had been moved around. We let it go at two cemeteries and did not bother documenting the third, as the basic idea had been communicated.)
