I live in Saint Louis, Missouri and have been fasinated in Geneology as a child. When I was 13 I came across letters written by my maternal great grandmother. She was enquiring about her family and where they came from. It was fascinating to read the letters and learn about the ancestors you have never met. It was then that I seem to have gotten bit by the geneology bug.

I love finding information on family and finding pictures of ancestors. It is wonderful that Findagrave has a site where we can honor our dead. Our ancetors should never be forgotten and this is why when I leave flowers on my memorial page or other memorial pages, I leave Forget Me Not Flowers. Our ancestors made us who we are today and we must appreciate that. I love leaving flowers on other memorial pages and I hope others will do the same. Everyone has a story to tell. It is only right for the living to remember the dead, even if they are not related to us. They are related to someone. It's only right to honor them.

Thank you
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for leaving a token for my precious son. I still can't believe he's gone and the violent way he did it. The pain is so intense and relenting. Thanks again for your concern, kindness and caring for our family.

Perhaps you may want to check with any of the several veterans chat rooms or webpages. Perhaps if you can find an obituary on your father's friend from the hometown.

Hi Amy, I transferred Lawrence to you. I also noticed you put his parents in so I went ahead and linked him to those memorials. I wanted to discuss with you how you set those up, can you email me directly at genealogy@mills-sfv.com? Thanks!

Hi Amy,
Sorry it to so long to get back to you! So much of my genealogy is buried in a box in the garage - but those names do sound familiar. I'll try and drag out what I have in the couple of weeks. Did you find him in the Census. As I recall, he is in one of them with his mother in AR. It must have been 1880?? Thank you so much for leaving flowers for my mother!
