I hope to work a few more years.

If a edit is in error, please be respectful, Mistakes can happen, no need to be RUDE.

Can't make everyone happy these days.. Some comments are just ridiculous. (Leaves nearby, picture is on a angle not straight on; or yellow date or water marks on photos). I've made thousands and thousands of people happy locating burials with my work over all these years and I just ignore anyone with negative ridiculous remarks. Please keep them to your self. NO volunteer should bad mouth another volunteer for their work. My little Kodak (which doesn't always take the best photos) and I have made thousands of fellow genealogist happy with just a photo of a gravestone and with what is on it the gravestone.. Edits can be done at any time by myself or other volunteers, which I do have many that work with me and they do just that for me.

Please do NOT merge cenotaph as a duplicate. they can be marked Cenotaph.

I want to THANK everyone that has sent me private notes on my work throughout the years. I have received some from all over the world.. (To name a few: England, Philippines, Scotland, Australia. Canada, Germany, New Zealand). And none of them have negative remarks about my work.

My name is added to photos due to the disrespect of the ones whom removes them and using them as their own without my permission. I am not disrespecting the Deceased. Watermarks are a safe guard not Disrespect. They are MY PHOTOS!

Per Find a Grave: "The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website is given without prior consent of the original submitter."

I also like the date on my photos, helps researchers know exactly when the photos were taken. As sometimes this may be a updated photo of ones added years before.

Complaining notes are not necessary because you don't like how certain photos looks. Anyone can add their photos on any memorial. Just because a person has worked in some cemeteries for years, does not mean no one else should work in them.

Transfers are done on a case by case basis.. relationships have to be explained in 4 direct line. Just saying they are your great great great etc is not enough. Or NOT just because you are working in a cemetery or military records etc. with no relationship to all the entries.. Please do not ask for bulk memorials.

Transfers may take a few days to accept or decline. First four direct generations are the main concern. Cousins, Aunts, Uncles etc are not always allowed.

PLEASE be respectful on the usage of volunteer's photos.. After all they are the volunteers photos and one would believe total respect and sourcing be proper credit given to each and every Volunteer when photos are used on other sites as well as Ancestry Tree. Also please do not remove Volunteer photos and add them because of photo sideways or you crop them to remove dates and names etc... this is very disrespectful to the Volunteer whom has taken the time/gas and energy to help Genealogist find relatives etc.

"Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors."

Please be advised: Ancestry is now merging duplicate. Even if your memorial is older and added before; but has the wrong location of burial, cremation or Unknown location, it will be merge with the exact location (especially if a stone has been located elsewhere). These merging, are done by many volunteers, not always the one whom has found the burial location.
