Bio Photo Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This does not include Cousins, Aunts or Uncles. Nor does it include your neighbor or BFF.

"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."

Jim Tipton, Find A Grave creator.

I will be the first one to go out of his way to help you out any way I can. I am more than happy to make additions, corrections or to transfer memorials to you providing it falls within the Find a Grave guidelines. Common courtesy would dictate that a "please" and a "Thank you" would be in order and much appreciated by myself. Treat me as you would like to be treated. I will work WITH you but I don't work FOR you. Ingratitude, rudeness as well as demands will put you at the bottom of my "To do" list.

May I please privately email you two questions
concerning above person whose records you manage.

Would greatly appreciate it.

My email is schwartzk@sbcglobal.net

I'd also like to add that the work you do in maintaining so many
records in so many locales and locations is an amazing gift that
you give so generously. I hope the thanks I read in the public messages are but the tip of a giant iceberg of gratitude.

Sorry, upon further inspection, Betsey's inscription is at the bottom of the stone, after her mother's. :)

Eddy Family
Thanks for posting the Abel Carpenter Sr.(memorial# 96561921). You have the name Martha Eddy being the wife. This is incorrect or maybe the same name(as Nancy & Agnes). Patty is a variant of Matty/Martha. I have info to share on her background. Abel Carpenter & Patty/Patience Eddy married December 01, 1796 Cheshire, Berkshire Co., MA. There is a memorial for Patty Carpenter(memorial# 71061383). I posted a memorial on Patty's father Loved Eddy (memorial# 132942397) with Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records of Loved Eddy & Abigail children, including Patty. They are also listed in the "Eddy Family in America" p1930. I'm a Eddy descendant, the above Loved Eddy being a distant uncle. Be interested in sharing with you. Thanks again for posting.

American Cemetery, Cairo
Hi Michael,

A friend of mine is working with several other Americans to document and help restore the American cemetery in Cairo. I see you added memorials for some persons there. We have information including photos on a good many of the graves in the cemetery. I see you have a great deal of experience - could you write me at olsong@gmail.com and we can share more information?

Best,

Greg

Jack Eason at Machpelah Cem, Oakland County, MI
Hi Michael, I am fairly certain that "your" Jack Eason was the son of John Eason and Herma (nee Kiple) born on 26 October 1917 at Valparaiso, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University in 1940, married Jane Holmes at Indianapolis on 23 May 1941, and was serving in the US Navy in 1943. I am interested in knowing whether his headstone shows his military service. btw way his brothers, Dick Eason (5 April 1924 - 17 May 2008) and James S Eason (1926 - 16 June 2010)also served in WWII, both as Marines. Dick was also a Master-Sgt in the US Army during the Korean War. Dick is buried at Gallatin, Tennesee and James at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaios where their parents are in repose. Please contact me at davidpauldavenport@yahoo.com as to whether Jack Eason has a Veteran's marker.
