RE: alison parker
I just received an email from a Find A Grave user who cursed me out for creating a memorial for Alison Parker. Stated it was in bad taste that I did so already. I wonder if the 4 others who created the same memorial after I did also received the email? Is there a time limit?

RE: alison parker
Changed! Thank you for the heads up. I had already seen it spelled two different ways.

Hi Bill,

I'll be happy to post her obit. Just go to the edit button on her memorial, then select from the list "any other corrections" and copy and paste the obit there. I receive these this way daily from various contributors on this site.

William Baudendistel, Memorial 88993472

I was wondering if you possibly had any further information on them. I am related to Ruth and come from the same county where she was born and married in Ohio. I am working on connecting the family on Find a Grave. I found her oldest sister, Norma, and I am working on locating Ruth and their sister Velma's burial locations to connect them to their parents also. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Amasee Miles - # 139858994
Hello,

I believe that Amasee is buried in Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC. I was watching Ken Burns' THE CIVIL WAR on DVD (Disc 2, Episode 3 - and at 24 minutes: 56 seconds, it shows a cemetery with a marker with the name Amasee Miles. The shot cuts off the date(s) and other information, but there are two other markers in the background (J.P. Prescott (d. 10/14/1862) and W.F. Kimball (d. 11/15/1862)). I searched for both of those markers on Findagrave and they are both listed in Beaufort National Cemetery. Perhaps you can list Amasee at the same cemetery and place a request for a marker photo.
