A NOTE REGARDING EDITS; please use the edit tab on the memorial that you would like to add to or change. I do not always get changes if you email me and it goes into my spam file so please use the EDIT tab. Thanks! While I am relatively new to Findagrave, I have been a life-long history/genealogy buff. On here almost daily researching my ancestry or adding memorials. As a child I always felt like I was unimportant and insignificant. When I began to research my ancestry, I came to find out that I had a family history and there were some interesting people in my tree. Genealogy has been a great comfort and value to me and I hope to pass that on in my own family. Now as a follower of Jesus Christ, I realize that I am a child of the Most High, a daughter of The King. My prayer is that I would help others to understand His great love for us and that I would be a light to someone. Researching the Miller's of Eaton Co. Mi, Yates' of NY. P.S. Anyone has my permission to copy any of the photos I have posted here as long as it is for your personal use. You cannot copy them if it is for profit or promotion; otherwise feel free. After all, isn't sharing what it is all about????
Annie Youmans Whittey Cole I just noticed that you requested a change to my great grandmother Annie Cole at Greenwood Cemetery Vernon, MI. Are you related to Youmans? I read your bio and noticed you have Millers that you are researching. One of the Youmans grand daughter married a John Miller. Anyway, I liked your write up and testimony for our Lord and Saviour. Keep up the good work, Bill
RE: Hunt's of Riverside Cemetery hey hon, I have an issue that I have to fix. On the post for Sam Hunt. When I originally posted for him, I post a picture of the headstone for Samuel R. Hunt instead of Samuel W. Hunt. I felt that it was odd that they weren't together but I continued anyway. When I found Margery's pillar, Samuel W. Hunt was on an adjacent side and I immediately knew I had made a mistake. I am very sure I took a picture of Samuel's side of the stone, which was perfect because it was in the sun and very legible. However, when I got home, the picture had seemed to have disappeared. I finished the cemetery yesterday but will go back to get the correct picture for this memorial. I feel so regretful for making such an error. I did go and remove the wrong stone on the memorial and I promise I will get the correct picture as soon as I can. Again, I am very sorry for making the mistake.
RE: Welcom to Find a grave! Thank you for the message and transfer. This is fascinating and I am excited to put my documentation and photos online for others and generations to come to review. Thanks again.
Davette Kolman Davette is my father's birth mother she died when he was 11 days old however this is the first information I have been able to find on her after searching for many years. My father is dead now so I can't ask him for information on her can you please tell me everything you have been able to find on her and pointers as to where to look to find more info. She had the sons James Rex and David David was my father. Only information I can find on her husband James Raymond is him with his second wife Eleanor.
My kids are related to the O'Brien's and on Vinnie's page you left a flower with the flowing "RIP beautiful lady and sweet baby. (Vinnie died 8 months pregnant.)". http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=32926409
How did you know that she was 8 months pregnant? I somehow missed that bit of information when I was researching her. Can you point me in the correct direction? I would love to trade information on the family if your interested.
