I am a nurse living in Hanover, Virginia, trained in Orthopaedics, Total Joint Replacements, and Pain Management. Giving good help to those in need is my passion for nursing.
I got started in full-time genealogy research in 2002. I enjoy researching my family genealogy. Maternal line of interest includes: Archer, Austin, Brooks, Funn, Ryland, Taylor, and Word. Paternal line of interest includes: Vaughan and Rollins.
I have listed local cemetery gravesites in Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas, obtained from local newspaper obituraries and local funeral home Web sites.
Thanks to those who have placed cemetery photos and flowers at my family memorials.

Nothing Gold Can Stay
Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.

 | RE: Mary Bowles Yates Dear Mrs. Joyce Vaughn,
Are you an R. N. ?
Thank you first.
Mrs. Mary Bowles Yates was/is my Mothers Aunt and my Great Aunt. She was born from my Great Grandmother with my Great Grandaddies help.
So yes a direct-blood kin-line. She I knew and know her from my birth to her date of death also her husband, Hon. E.Floyd Yates, Sr. and only son, Col (Ret.)Elwood F. Yates, Jr. his two wives, and children well.
Hon. E.Floyd Yates said to me in his library and study when I was with him before he passed in 108th year.. "We Are Family, Family We Are"! My second eldest nephew became a Mason because of Uncle Floyd. So yes he asked as all have to too. Same as in Eastern Star.
I have left tokens honoring a lot of your kin Maam. I saw one was a member in in Eastern Star.
Thanks again for transferring my Aunt Mary to me to manage her memorial for her.
You may make me your friend on Find A Grave now.

 | Ruthan Meekins You have a photo of her headstone. She was my aunt. Do you know any of her living relatives? | | | Diana Coles Haselmyer
 | Katie S Frazier Hi, again, would you mind contacting any of Katie's cousins or friends that you know, and asking him/her to contact me by email: doodeeann@earthlink.net, so I may ask a few questions to get to know about her better? I will appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks, Diana | | | Donna Lange

 | RE: Katie S Frazier Was Katie married to Charlie J Frazier, who originally came from Huntington, NY? Did she live at 1314 S Meadow St in Richmond? IF so, we are talking about the same Katie, and she would be my aunt, who had very little contact with our family but I cared for her just the same. I would love to learn more about her. Thanks. | | | Diana Coles Haselmyer
 | Katie S Frazier Hi, your name was on the flower section for Katie Frazier and I wonder if you knew her, and her husband. I had an uncle Charlie whose wife was Katie S. Frazier and they lived in Richmond, VA. I barely knew her but we did meet a few times. Can you shed any light on her? Diana Coles Haselmyer member #47329526 | | | Beth Bond
