I live in DC and can do photo requests for the metro DC area, provided the cemetery is easily accessible.

Photos I have posted here may be stored offline for personal use, but should not be posted elsewhere online without permission, and may not be posted to Ancestry or any other service requiring payment.

I'm also the coordinator of the DC GenWeb website.

John James Beasley, Jr.
While getting information for your photo request for the above, the cemetery office states they have a J.Charles Beasley buried there in 1984. This may help with you trying to verify his name, as I saw the two possible names in his bio. I will attempt to get out and get the photo within the next couple of weeks. Take care.

Louise Home
I had a great - great aunt Anna Louisa Lewis who lived in the Louise Home until her death in 1897. Do you know if there is a listing of the residents or other archives about the Louise Home?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. There was another one with six. I have no idea how this would have happened. All have been deleted. Thanks again.

I like your philosophy:

(Pics) may not be posted to Ancestry or any other service requiring payment.

I totally agree!! This merger of Find A Grave & Ancestry has not been in OUR best interest :{

Thanks for the information. As a Wake Forest Alumnus ('66, '69) and long term faculty member, I admired him greatly.

RE: Gaines
I am not actively researching my late husband's Gaines line. Check my file: I update it after the 1st of each month but a may not have anything new on the line. Hope you find someone to give the book to. You could also consider donating it to the LDS Family History library or a local genealogical society.
