FYI: I am willing to transfer any memorials that are your family, I would ask the same. If anyone needs to relinquish memorials because of health or they no longer wish to participate, please feel free in asking me to help you with them.|
I am a father of four, paw paw of two, I am a Christian, a Freemason, Patriot Guard rider, American Legion, Disabled Army veteran & NRA endowed member. I enjoy looking up my family history & trying to help others find theirs.
On my fathers side - Bowen & Smith
On my Mothers side - Bishop & Nichols If you or your family are any of these, please message me. I have a tree on Ancestry & I am always looking for new information.

Thank you so very much for traveling to Salem Cemetery in Freestone County in order to take a photo of Lee's gravestone. You're the best!

Thank you for the photo. I noticed that it looks like a double stone. Do you have a photo of the entire stone? Does it have his wife on it? If so, could you post the full stone and place it on her memorial too? Thank you for all your hard work.

I've had the same problem. For some reason, the search doesn't work and I get no results and then find out later that I've duped because the original entry didn't show up on the search. Real bummer!!

Since my father was career USAF, I have done a lot of research on WWII in the Pacific, China, Berlin Air Lift, and Korea. After that he was in USAF Communications Security. Not much I can get there, even if I was in crypto maint.
At any rete, if there is anything in the military area where I can help, let me know. Esp. WWII.
Are you in the Hill County area?
|Larry Rickert||RE: Smith memorials|
When were you in the Army? Was in the USAF 1961 - 1968.
|Linda Mullen||RE: Minnie Elmore|
Well right now, I am wondering that it might be two Minnie Elmores....a daughter and a mom...So as soon as I find out, I will then delete my entry. And send you the extra information and links to her parents. THere just seems to be a lot of confusion about this. The old headstones out there are so hard to read and dates are reversed sometimes...the 1920 might should be 1902? So I am not sure yet, till I see the headstone. 1920 would also be the right age to be her child ....
Keep you posted.
