 | Photo Hi,
I was wondering if anyone in the Sav, Ga area could take a picture of the headstone for Jimmy Lee Bland.
He was my father, killed in the line of duty, 6 months prior to me being born, although I never knew him, I would like if someone could help me in this.
Thanks

 | Laura I was looking for a relatives memorial on here and ended up coming across Laura Newman. I was a baby when this happened. Apparently today would of been her 38th birthday. Where in Savannah did this happen? Ofcourse there is nothing on this online because of the time frame of it.Added by Lindsay on Feb 20, 2009 11:56 AM | | | geohabe
 | China Smith/Dan Duryea Larry, I read your note after posting my own about my memory of Dan Duryea as "China Smith" on tv in the 1950's. (I actually was reminded of this as I drove him and passed a Chinese guy driving an SUV...It reminded me of Duryea!) I note that you're from Savannah...my wife and I spent a week there at the B&B off I think it was Lafayette Square (?) in the historic district. Loved it and look forward to returning! | Berry Chavis Larry, Could you please tell me who his parents were? One of my aunts remembers an Uncle Berry coming to visit but she doesn't know who his parents were. My cousin and I are researching the family history and some people we have talked to seem to think Berry belonged to Desana Chavis (daughter of Philip and Ann Chavis) but we have not found any proof. Can you help?
