As a hobby and personal interest, I research American West literature. Although I normally focus on fiction, I have learned that it's essentially impossible to separate much of the western fiction from our early pioneers history.

As our generation moves forward, I find myself looking back to learn more about our past (I just wish more people were as interested as I am). For this reason, I have created my own website that is dedicated to western fiction, music, and of course the movies, and it's called oldwesternbooks.com.
