Born in the South, but always set sites on NYC. Lived and worked in NY for over 43 years. Enjoy paying my respects for "Show Folks" who have passed before me. This site is my favorite of it's type. Is also a fantastic source for biographic info. Pleased that I can contribute in some way. | |

 | Matthew Somerville Morgan Pics David do you go to Woodlawn Cemetery still? If you do I am trying to get pictures of Matthew's grave. Matthew Morgan was a main stay in New York, doing stage drawings and handout paintings. I just found him and he is my Great Great Grandfather. The people at the cemetery will take pics for me, but they want too much money for it. It is something that I can not afford at this time. I bet is is nice where he is, as it is near the lake.. Any help ?

 | Machpelah Hi -
I saw the entryway photos you posted for Machpelah in Queens and wanted to inquire if you get out there very often. I have been attempting to locate a volunteer to photograph two stones for my ancestors for some time. If you are planning on returning in the future, I have additional info about burial society, etc.
Thanks!

 | Cimetière du Père Lachaise Hi, I've been to Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris and saw that you posted a map of it. I looked through the famous internments but couldn't find an entry for the famous gigolo who is buried in the cemetery. There is a full body brass likeness on top of the grave and though he is fully clothed he has an obvious erection that has been rubbed shiny as a new penny by those who visit his grave. I would like to find the name of this man. Thank you. | | | davep

 | Jack Gardner You uploaded a picture of Jonas and Mollie Gardner on his memorial page and the picture includes his young son Jack. Do you know anything about Jack after he grew up? Is he the same Jack Gardner who married Louise Dresser and he died in California in 1951?
