I, too, began family research nearly forty years ago, before the internet exploded our options and resources. Now that I've found Find A Grave, I've become addicted to preserving the information found on older monuments that are weathering away and linking families together.

Most of my memorials involve extensions of my (huge) family lines, Civil War soldiers, and other older fragile monuments.

My own lines include BAUMAN, BIRI, BONE, DALTON, JOLLY, LaROSE, MAYBERRY, NAEGER, RICE, STOREY, and TONGUAY in Missouri counties Madison, Perry, Ste. Genevieve, St. Francois, Washington,

Thank you to all the volunteers before me who have posted information on elusive family members.

Reuben B. Harris her father.
Thank you for the time to consider a reply.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I'm in the midst of transferring data from an old pc to a new one. Yes, related, but not direct line. It's up to you if you want to transfer to me that's fine! Thanks! :) Sorry it took so long to get back to you!

RE: Moranville links
Not related, but thanks for the offer--just hang on to the memorial until someone more closely related comes along. Thanks again for the links!

Naeger Family
I was so pleased to find the information on my biological family. All my life I have felt half empty and not whole. My mother took all the information to her grave with her. Not a trace of anything. I did not want to do this to my children. I am 65 years old now and needed to get to the end of this journey and have something concrete for them. My husbands side of the family we have all the way back to Ireland and Scotland. My side was my mothers side only. One half the tree missing. Finally a cousin of mine was on find a grave and we reconnected from childhood and she has her mothers records. The big break. Went to our library geneology dept. with the info she gave me. Looked up cencus records, ect. Then came home and found your information. I am hoping to reconnect with some of the members of the family some day. I think it would be nice to have some family to write too. Thank you so very very much for adding them to this website.

LaRose
Notice you have Larose. Wondering about Barbara LaRose who married Dennis Hargiss in 1907 in Missouri. They had child Violet. Then she later become Beyers.
