Ann Eliza (Anderson) Laurenson
Ann Eliza Anderson (1836-1896) m. 1856 to John H. Laurenson (1826-1887) (The gravestone marker, which was placed many years after his death, is incorrect. According to his death certificate he died 12 Jan. 1887).

Ann Eliza Anderson was the daughter of Elizabeth Hess (1818-1896). Elizabeth married three times:
1. Jacob Anderson (1812-1844) m. 1836
2. Abram Hull (1836-1859)
3. John V. Dickisson (1809-1881)

Elizabeth is buried in the Johnsonburg Methodist Cemetery next to her third husband. The burial sites of her first two husbands are unknown.

I'm hoping you would do me a great favor.Would you please change the words, the spy, to hanged as a spy after Major Andre. In 1775 or 1776 Andre was captured and was housed with the Copes in Lancaster PA. He was a nice honest person.
He was meeting with Benedict Arnold and because he was behind the lines they killed him as a spy, but he was not spying.

Thank you

Hello Michael!
It has been quite awhile since I have contacted you. I first reached out to you with information about my mother's memorial (Daisy DePue in Beemerville Cemetery, Sussex County, NJ).

You were so helpful. I think of you whenever I use this website.

Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and thank you again.

Thanks again, Michael. I live in Alabama but frequently go to Picatinny Arsenal on business. So it was a shock to find that my ancestors lived and died in and around Rockaway. I'll have a chance to visit the Demouth graves soon.

Esther B Schaffner grave
Hello Michael -
You photographed my grandmother's headstone at Tranquility Cemetery in Sussex County, NJ which helped me realize that her husband never finished the stone with her date of death. I have been trying to get Bob Cahill at Tranquility to finish it but he needs to know the location as this is a 10 - 15 acre area. The Find A Grave Memorial is #34297774. Can this s be used to located the stone?

You took the photo back in February 28, 2009 so I am sure it would be near impossible to remember, but we are desperately trying to find this grave stone.

Thank you

In Memorial# 29221576 you posted two photos of the headstone of Cyrus Demouth. Are you related to him? He was my 4th great uncle.

I am curious about the upright headstone next to his flat headstone. Is he buried next to someone he is related to? I think that upright stone says, "Mary Powers", but it is not perfectly clear in the photo. Do you know what the engraving says below the name on that stone?
