I have been researching my husband's and my family's histories for several years now. Whereas his ancestry in America dates back to the 1600's (and even before that because of his Native American roots), my ancestors only started arriving here from Europe in the mid 1800's.|

|Brenda (Evans) Irby||Margaret E DePrisco Evans|
Margaret was my aunt by marriage. Her husband was my Uncle Douglas Evans (my dad's brother). I never really knew Margaret because she passed away when I was very young, but we used to visit Uncle Douglas and his children at Fort Myers near Arlington. Sonny, Susie, Alfred, Verna Lee, Lillian (Chick), and Johnny were my cousins, and I haven't seen any of them for many many years. There is a memorial for Douglas on this site: Find A Grave Memorial# 49179420. I plan to add an obituary and a photo of him eventually. Thank you for adding this memorial of Margaret and also the one of Susie.

Are you still active at Findagrave? I had sent updates for Robert, memorial #25275469, who needs to be moved to the proper church but had not heard back.

Anne: Thanks for the info and picture of Thomas Meredith Thweatt Wall - my 2nd great grandfather. My family info also identifies Tangles as a surname, but I cannot find their origins. C C Tangles is the earliest. Any direction you can point me to would be helpful. Thanks. Brent (firstname.lastname@example.org)
