My philosophy is that the memorials for people unrelated to me are meant to be shared & given away to any close family member willing to maintain their family member's memorial page, make corrections, keep an ongoing commitment to this website & genealogy, etc. Though I may not always be available, please let me know if you'd like a transfer done (see below). I will get to it as soon as I can.
If you have suggestions or corrections, additional biographical information, relationships you'd like added to a memorial, I am happy to hear from you--I can add these changes for you if you don't wish to own the page. Please feel free to add appropriate photos and flowers anytime! Please, no post-mortem photos or photos (or names in obituaries, etc) of the living.
MAKING TRANSFERS: The best way to suggest corrections or ask for a transfer of management is to go to "edit" for that person's memorial page and send me an email under suggestions and comments. That way I can more easily get your message and your id number, etc--the switch will be done more quickly.
Have a Wonderful Time on Findagrave! It's truly the best help I've had in decades of research.

I am Mary's son John. I just read your message. I knew my mother was married before she married my father. She had told me his name was Virgil but that was all she said. I was a young boy and I doubt she was going to fill me in on her personal business Lol. I believe they married in Oneonta NY ? I have plenty of pics of my mother if you are interested in seeing them as well as pics of the grave where both my parents are buried. My father died very young,52. My mother died at 63 from ovarian cancer. She was a good mother and a good person. Is Virgil still alive? I do appreciate you contacting me.and if you have any pics I might like please feel free to send them as I will do the same.my email is firstname.lastname@example.org

No problem--I, too, make LOTS of mistakes and if we can't work together, correct and forgive, then why do it at all??!!??!! :-)
Have a good day!!

You are very welcome. I always try to clean up the headstones. I feel that it shows respect for the person and also makes it so the stone can be read.
|Don Busby||Merton Perrigo|
Posted two pictures of headstone for Merton. one without decorations and one with. If you want me to delete one of the pictures let me know. Also, if you want to create a memorial for Ethel, I will post a picture or I can create memorial.
You have my permission to use these pictures for your genealogy or family search needs.

Thank you for the Fishbeck memorials!!!! This was a great surprise. I have started adding a little information and will add more as time goes on. I also will search for any stories I can come up with when I have a chance to get into the files.
|Richard Meyer||RE: 3rd message|
The three Fishbeck brothers are Richard (42953155), Freeman (114120641) and Jacob (11533872).
I am not a direct relative but they seem like I know them very well. My great grandfather and my grandfather lived across the road from them in Genoa Twp., Livingston Co., MI. I can remember my grandfather talk about the Fishbecks often. He had great respect for them.
Hope this helps.
|Richard Meyer||RE: Wonderful Information|
The crypt was in very poor condition and moving the remains was the best option. The brothers were Richard, Freeman, and Jacob, you will find these along with their wives buried in Sections "C" and "H".
Hope this answers you question.
I truly love all the work that is being done on these memorials, but instead of strangers to the cemeteries I feel that this work should be left up to the families and close friends that know what is going on. I was born, raised, and have live all my 75 years in Howell.I have been doing genealogical research for 45 years and know all the folks I am making memorials for. My files contain nearly 20,000 people.
