Bio and Links
Bio Photo All of my photos are here for the benefit of the families - no need to ask for permission to copy them to ancestry sites, etc. I do this research for my own pleasure and education AND to benefit families with photos of their loved ones' resting places. These photos already belong to the family (as far as I am concerned).

I hope you all are enjoying this site as much as I enjoy it. I thank everyone who has assisted me in my personal family research.

If there is a family member that you want transferred to you, let me know. If the person isn't one of my family and they are yours - it will be done. I'm not into amassing numbers. I just want to show my respect.

I have a picture that was published in the Zanesville newspaper to add but it has the maximum no. of photos. Would you consider removing one to add this one? Thank you for your consideration. Mary DeLong Allen

RE: James Gerhard BRUMMELER
Well, that is certainly my fault .... I must have missed something. Sure, you can transfer. And I appreciate you deleting. I will add a photo of him. How odd, I just re- read the letter, today, from his mother's journal, from when he had scarlet fever. He survived the fever, but it must have damaged his heart, so he passed eventually from the disease. Thanks you very much. This is a remarkable site, and the people do such a wonderful service. Jinny

Ignatius Roll of Zanesville, OH
Yes, it was the correct one. Thank you.
Sorry I didn't get back to you, I've been overwhelmed with the sub-zero temps and all the other winter delights we've had to deal with this winter. Guess I just got off track!! Thanks again!

James Gerhard BRUMMELER

Jimmy BRUMMELER is my Great Uncle. You created his memorial page, so I am not sure if it is proper for me to delete one of the cemetery photos you have added, in order to post a photo of him. So I guess I am asking permission to do so. Thank You so much for creating his page to begin with . . . and thank you, before hand, for understanding my request. I have posted several other BRUMMELER family photos, but there just is not room here. Thx, Jinny

Ignatius Roll of Zanesville, OH
Elizabeth Roll, the child of Ignatius, wed Jacob Oshe of Zanesville. Ignatius and several other family members came to Zanesville from Detwiller, Bas-Rin, France, sometime around the 1830s or so. Jacob and Elizabeth had a child named Catharine who married Alexander V. McDonnell, of Burton, WV. Catharine and A.V. are my great-grandparents on my father's side. I was hoping you could his memorial to me; I would really appreciate it so much.
I have found out a lot of background history on the free genealogical website called I also found a good bit on the website called It's also completely free and both are very informative.
I remember my father talking about the Oshe side of the family, but I have been able to confirm things and also to add info. Thanks for your work, and I am hoping you could transfer this to me.
