I'm sorry, I don't live in that area of Kansas. You might click on the name of a person that has entered several memorials on that cemetery.
Let me know if want this memorial transferred to you. Good luck in your study.

Asquith - Curiosity
Hi again, Just noticed one of Alice's siblings had a middle name of David. Hmmm....makes ya wonder if Alice's father was Robert David huh. Just my thoughts. I did find a death notification for the Robert below but no mention of mother or father...drats!!!

J. F. Asquith (1855 - 1923)*
Albert David Asquith (1857 - 1950)*
Alice Asquith Bruce (1863 - 1939)
Robert Asquith (1866 - 1921)*

RE: Bruce, Alice
Nope...don't think that we will ever know for sure. I have notated Robert/David in the bio section though. Thanks again for the info. I'm wondering if Robert/David would be in the same cemetery as Esther with or without a marker? Just a thought. Family trees say he died after 1895. I found him in the 1880 general census and in the Kansas census as of March 1, 1895 in Whiting, Jackson, Kansas if you want to keep digging - pardon the pun... :)

Take care.

Bruce, Alice
Hi Ms. Adams, I thank you for your message about her father. Below is the record I took the information from. Could his middle name have been David? Reason I am asking is that a David Asquith with wife Esther and child Alice Bruce died in WA State as well (see below). I can make a notation of Robert in the bio section. Family tree's have him as Robert but sometimes trees are inaccurate with dates and names. Let me know what you think or if you are related that you definitely know his name was Robert. Thanks muchly.

This is what would be on her death certificate I think.

RE: Thank You So Much!
Your very welcome. I think you have been a member longer then I have, although I'm seeing what your talking about. The Strawn stone, for example, is on an angle that makes short people like me unable to get a good picture. I needed about six more inches to get the clear shot I was hoping for, haha.

It's very possible that this is your Clara, but I don't know. I just transcribed a list I found and there have been mistakes found in the original list. Would you like me to transfer this memorial and you can adapt it as you see fit in your research?
