Ardella Baker 1860-1940
Hi, I searched Pleasant Hill Cemetery in
Brookville OH today for your request on Ardella Baker. Is it possible that her first name is spelled wrong? I found a marker on Fidelia Baker dated 1860-1940 in same plot as Catherine & Noah Baker. You listed Catherine & Noah as parents of Ardella Baker. Let me know if this is a possiblity, I took a photo just in case. I will go back now that I know I was in the right spot and look further if you are sure its Ardella.
Thanks,
Cindy

RE: Adaline and Johnson Welch
As I was uploading Johnson's headstone photo yesterday, I realized that there must be at least one more for him since the cemetery directory listed his Civil War information. I went back today and found the civil war marker. Unfortunately, it was set flat into the ground and has become semi-buried. I uncovered it as much as possible and took the photo which I've added to his memorial. I'm very surprised that he isn't included on the Welch family monument with his parents and wife, but he's not. Nor is there any other grander headstone that I could find.

Charles,

I enjoyed the drive in the country.

You're welcome.

I found out that there -appears- to be two other cemeteries in FindAGrave that appear to be the same cemetery:

Creagerstown Cemetery
Creagerstown Lutheran Reformed Church Cemetery
Saint Johns Lutheran Church Cemetery

As luck would have it, the cemetery board was having a supper fund-raiser in the community hall across the street, one of the board members saw me walking around and came out. I have her contact info if you'd like it. I emailed asking for the official name of the cemetery, and will make the request to the admins to combine them when she replies.

Good Hunting!

Benjamin Tye photo request
Interred next to Benjamin is Maude L Tye (1893-1969). I did not find a memorial for Maude. f you plan to create a memorial for her, please send me the memorial page number so I can post her crypt marker photo.
