Hi, I'm back
As all my friends may have noticed, I've been away for a good while. The reason for that is that I've suffered an unthinkable loss, I lost my eldest son David due to an undetected heart condition. His illness and unfortunate loss drove me into a deep and painful depression. I've been ill myself and just unable to socialize in any way, shape, or form. I'm trying to get my life back to normal, one day at a time, and will soon be saying hello to my good and dear friends here at find a grave. Thanks and God bless you all.
Hi! My public name is Osiris, though a male name for he's the Egyptian God of the afterlife (rebirth), it has a female ring to it and I just love the name!
I live in the North side of Chicago. I have Social Services background. Blessed with 3 grown sons David, Paul & Steven, 3 adorable Birillos (dogs) Rosie, Sookie, and Krypto. I don't like to call my babies "dogs" because people use that word too loosely in disparaging ways (I came up with that name since I was a little girl, and don't know where that word came from.) We also have a cat Anastasia Millie Marie Beaverhoussen Putinsky (my son Steven named her.) I also have 2 love birds Jeffrey and Ina, and they just became the proud parents of baby bird Junior!!
I found this site searching for the final resting place of a friend, and it was love at first sight!! I've always been interested
in cemeteries, because behind every name in every stone there is a story, there is history. I see a grave and think of all the unsaid words, for death got in the way... I think of the loved ones left behind with questions that cannot easily be answered, the sadness, the sense of loss, the countless tears, and the heartache that time just doesn't really take away... I know, for I'm one of those loved ones left behind!!
But Find A Grave give us the opportunity to visit those gone before us at any time, to honor our relatives, old friends, as well as new ones. To comfort each other by doing something beautiful for our loved ones and making sure they're still part of our reality...that they're not forgotten!!

I just read the message you left for me and my heart was broken. I had NO idea what you have been going through. Words alone cannot express my heartfelt sympathy for you. I am so sorry about your son David. The deep depression you have been in, I hurt for you. I understand that you have not wanted to do anything, and that slowly you are coming around. I am SO happy that you wrote me a message and told me. I feel bad that you are not in good health, but as sad as you have been, it probably contributes to just not feeling well. I pray that your heart will feel better soon. I wish that you lived close to me, because we could talk more. If there is anything you want to talk about, or anything I can do for you, just ask. I have been so engrossed with my new job since January, that I only come on Find A Grave once a week or so now...so I was so saddened to hear of your loss...I just cannot begin to understand the pain that you are going through right now...there are no words that can make this right...only that he is no longer in pain, just you who is left behind with a great pain...you will learn how to live with your loss, just give it time...remember all the good times...let me know when you make his memorial on here so that I may visit him.
