My dad died on April 27, 2013. It would mean so much to me if you left a token on his page.|

Jeannie - thanks so much for taking the time to go and take the photo's. I really appreciate it.

Jeannie - I would certainly appreciate you
checking for me at your convenience. Joyce
|Joyce McCorkle||Watson Plot in Carquinez Cem.|
I see you have taken a picture of the Watson plot in the Carquinez Cemetery in Vallejo CA. Buried there are the father, Joseph Rigby Watson, mother, Martha J. Watson and a son, Henry. I am looking for the grave of another son, Woodford O. who died in 1952. I see in the photo 4 markers, do you by any chance know who the 4th person is.
Thanks for your work.
Thanks for the comeback - I also believe he was born somewhere on the trail - perhaps Fort Bridger, but the death record at Willard would not have been so descriptive if they just came to town & said he died at the fort.
His next brother was born at Willard and even if James was born at the fort, they had 8 months to get to Willard afterward. I believe he is buried in the strangers lot because of their traveling on to Idaho later.
Thanks for working on these - I especially want to document those who do not have stones. ~ Shirleen
Hi: I saw your note on the memorial of Walter Wavern Van Sickle. I have been looking for this family because I am responsible for the cemetery records at Willard Utah.
A baby brother, born the year before Walter, is recorded buried here. The record is very clear, "James A. Vansickle, born 28 May 1890 at Willard, died Age 8 mos. 28 days, 25 Feb 1891 at Willard".
Family Tree has him born & died at Fort Bridger, Uinta, WYO. I am almost positive the birth place could be right, but the death, or burial, at least, was at Willard. (However, I do not think his body would have been transported that far.)
Any help appreciated. ~Shirleen [history4sure]

Hi Jeannie, it takes me forever anymore but I think part of that is I'm just not going the speed that I was.
Thanks for letting me use the photo of your grandmother. I think somewhere I have a picture of a team and my aunt is in it.
|Oh look, a chicken!||RE: Hello|
Hi, thank you so much for you kind words! I'm sorry to hear about your Dad, I know how tough it is losing him. We never would've dreamed we'd lose our Dad so fast, he went from seemingly fine to dead in less than 2 weeks, it's been a terrible shock.
This site is great in that we can post memorials and know people stop and visit our loved ones. I know some people are obsessed with the idea that it's supposed to be a grave location site, not so much a genealogy or memorial one, but I have to disagree. You just can't have one without the others, I think.
I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, have a great day!

I recently posted a photo of his mothers marker, which is next to him.
