My ancestor, Elizabeth Thoroughgood, was a child of Sarah Offley and Adam Thoroughgood. She married Capt. John Michael (pronounced McKeel - it is Dutch) on the Eastern Shore of Va. Elizabeth was born in 1634 in Lynnhaven (Norfolk/VA Beach area today) in 1634 and died in Accomack (Eastern Shore) in 1675. The daughter of Elizabeth Thoroughgood and John Michael was Sarah Michael (pronounced McKeel), who married Argoll Yeardley, Jr. My line comes down through these people on the Eastern Shore of VA.
