Genealogy hobbiest since 1997. Started with about 40 names, and my database is now over 6,000. Great fun discovering new ancestors! Please...if you have ANY connection to those I have entered, do contact me and let's exchange further information. |
Also willing to photograph grave sites in southern Nevada/southwestern Utah. Give me a shout.
Any grave photograph that I have entered has been taken by me, and you may use them yourself in any way you care to. As far as I'm concerned, they are NOT copyrighted. Also, if you wish to take ownership of an entry I made, please let me know and I'll be glad to comply.

|annie52||Henry Thornber tombstone|
I cant thank you enough for your photographs of my x gt grandfather Henry Thornber who was born in England. I have been searching for information on him in England, and only found out a few days ago that he emigrated to Nauvoo in 1842 and what is more, he was a pioneer. I can't believe all the info I have found in such a short space of time, and now I have lovely pictures of his place of rest. Thank you so much. Ann

Sorry for any confusion! Those several Hoopes at Old Caln should be in this cemetery here, the Caln Friends Orthodox Cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2581224

Hi, I added your information pertaining to Lucian on his bio. "Genealogical History of the Redfield Family in the United States", by John H. Redfield, 1860, with his parents and six siblings.

I added the death certificate to this entry. can not find a veteran's burial card for him, so your flower note is still not proven.

Thank you Ray! Did the book you have list the children's info at all? I saw that book 40 years ago but I didn't think to track the descendants, now I am tracking them LOL. How time changes our goals.

Margaret Shewell (1794-1869) md Samuel Redfield in Portage Co Ohio 1816 and they had 5 children. Margaret's sister Selina Shewell marrid Peleg Redfield same county and moved west. Selina/Peleg had 6 children.
I am researching all descendants of Rev Henry Shewell their father, so I am trying to find all these two girls descendants. Do you have research on them and their descendants? Would you share with me your research. Selina and Peleg moved west to NE.
I also am trying to complete their lines on Find A Grave so all the descendants are connected. I guess I am not related, as I am a descendant of Margaret/Selina's brother William Shewell. But since I am looking to find all the descendants of Henry Shewell (lst Methodist Circuit Rider in Ohio) I need Redfield lines.

are you related to the Redfields? I saw some post on some of my ancestors Find A Grave and wondered if you are family. Sandy
