James Ellis # 82219757 transfer Thank you so much for the second transfer, Bob. I will get out my notes and begin working on our Ellis lines again. Can't wait to locate our Ellis lines back into Virginia. Warm regards, sellgen
If possible, I would also like the site for James Ellis #82219757, on which is listed the info about the possibility of Betsy Morrison being James' actual wife, which is correct.
I will be glad to also manage the James Ellis, son of Edward Ellis and Martha Holtzclaw #82220323, which you transferred today. I like to do the whole family and to document the info I've found while researching my particular lines. Amos Holtzclaw was apparently friends with our Ellis family back in Virginia and may have moved to Kentucky with James and Betsy in the early 1800s. I plan to research the Holtzclaw family back into Virginia to help me untangle the numerous Ellis lines in which the name James and other family names were used repeatedly.
Hello Bob, we're double cousins through Bradford and Elizabeth (Ellis) Ellis' younger siblings, James Ellis and Anna Ellis marrying. I've been researching both Ellis families for several years, traveling to Corydon, IN last year and going back soon. Also researching in IL, IA and will be in KY and TN soon, before going back to VA to work on the earlier generations.
The Sangnecker marriage that everyone lists is an error - one of James' cousins James in Greenbriar Co, VA married an Eliz Sangnecker and they are buried in VA. I would like to get that out of our records and want to link all our family members. I would appreciate it if you would allow me to manage these two sites and I would like to get to chat with you via email, if possible.
Andrew & Sarah Williams Bob - I am Roy Williams. These two people would be my Great Great Grandparents. Long story but my Gradfather is Clarance Amos (Logsdon) Williams who was a child of Leon and Vina Logsdon. I am interested in tracing the Williams side of the family. Thanks for any help. Roy
McClain I just filled your photo request for Sarah & Sterling McClain. At least I hope I did. Sterling was S. Price and Sarah was Sadie. Her dates were the same but Sterling's birth year was off by a year. I also took photos of Virgil, Infant, Sarah A, and an Ethel McClain. I had to add a memorial for Ethel and if you would like management that would be fine with me because I am not related. Do you know if Sarah A McClain was Guy Kirkpatrick's wife? They were buried next to one another and she didn't have a last name on her stone.
It has everyone listed in this cemetery. I thought it might help you. I see that there are not anymore Parkers buried here, but there are some McClards. That was Lucinda's name before she married Silas Parker. Thanks for your help.
Lucinda Parker Bob, do you happen to know if there were any other Parker's buried in the cemetery with Lucinda? I know that she had several children that died at birth or shortly after and I have no idea where they are buried. Thanks.
Lucinda Parker Yes I would like the better copy of her stone. I am so happy to have this. She was married to my great great grandfather's brother. When I am able to find something on this family I am so happy. The Parker family is so hard to research because there are so many of them. Thanks so much.
