Covingtons Dorothy, I am looking for information regarding John Covington Jr. (married to Catherine Stickley). John Covington Jr. is my 3rd great-grandfather. My mother was Ruby Doris Covington Sprague.
Are you related to Wiley Anderson Murrell? I noticed that you had left flowers on his Find A Grave Memorial# 39584671. Are you related? If so, would love to share info- we have not been able to determine his parents despite 40-50 years of research.
Meredith White :: Find A Grave Memorial# 24719662 Hello-I understand that you have tons of White Family info. I'm searching for relatives of Alex White, my 3rd great grandfather and the husband of Elizabeth Castleberry (Find A Grave Memorial #13490065). Thank you.
Tennessee Ellen Chandler Milligan http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=29393396 She's in Shady Grove Cemetery in Miser Station. Up the hill from our place, about half a city block. If you haven't found her yet. Love you, Etta Davis Whaley (cousin)
Thomas Franklin Hornbuckle Looks like we are related. Thomas and Nan-chi are my 4th great grandparents also. Who are your direct line ancestors? My grandmother was Allie Belle Hornbuckle married to William Nathan Wilkey Sr. Her parents were Robert Anderson Hornbuckle Jr and Addie Sublett. Robert's parents were Robert Anderson Hornbuckle Sr and Eliza Jane Russell. Robert Sr's parents were William L Hornbuckle and Elizabeth Griffin. William's parents were Thomas Franklin Hornbuckle and Nan-chi Bolen. Please let me know where you come into this line. Thanks.
Tennessee Ellen It did not compute in my head that you had left flowers for her. I did not mention that she was my Great-Grandmother. My Grandmother is Carrie Elizabeth Milligan Davis. I do have info to enter into the cemetery database for several graves there that have not been entered in as interred that are in fact there. There are several Davis' that are immediate family, i.e. parents, grands, greats, aunts and uncles. I will pull up records to verify my facts first before entering anything. Hope to hear from you soon.
Davis/Milligan Families Hello Dorothy, We own land not quite a city block from Shady Grove Cemetery. My father grew up there and it has been in the family for, from what I can make out, going on 175-200 years. I spent many a day roaming the countryside in and around the cemetery. From what I understand there is also a Davis Family cemetery somewhere in the vicinity of Miser Station. Down at the end and around the corner of Miser Station Road. My Aunt Ruth was best friends and a cousin to Eva Dee French. She was in the car with her at the time of the wreck that took her life. They lived across the road from each other. I had no knowledge of this cousin relationship or family cemetery growing up. I do know Aunt Ruth married her cousin, Herschel Davis. They had two children, my first cousins. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if you would contact me I would love to know if you could shed any light on my family history. I do use Ancestry.com, although I am not subscribed at the moment, I do have a tree there. Myself and my older brother have DNA tests done. Mine at ancestry, his at 23andme. Hope to hear from you.
