I am a wife, mother of three, grandmother of ten.|
My passions in life are my family, genealogy,
I started climbing my family tree when I was twelve, and haven't stopped yet!
I have enjoyed taking some "roots vacations" to
Illinois and Pennsylvania. Genealogy naturally leads you to the world of history. I enjoy American History very much.
Many of my ancestors came to America for religious reasons. I have traced them through
just about every war that America has taken part in.
I have taught genealogy classes in my church.
And I often help friends and neighbors with their research.
"Turning Hearts" comes from the last verse in The Old Testament, Malachi 4: 6.
I am very appreciative of my husband's understanding of this great work!
Findagrave.com is one of my very favorite websites.

I will check next time there.

Good Morning - I posted pictures but I am not happy with them. I went several times over the weekend, trying to catch the best light and all of them are substandard. They are located in a very wooded area so shadows are a given. Perhaps when the leaves are all gone, it may be better. We will see. Levi's marker is not readable and it is loose, so one of these days, this marker will fall. It appears that C Greer has Levi linked to his mother as spouse. Perhaps you can get that fixed. Will post your other request for Susannah tonight. She is in the same row and again, poor quality picture but it is readable. Have a good day!

Please excuse my previous post. I find my dyslexia has set in today. I meant to say Mrs. John and Henry John. My mistake.
|miss morgan||RE: Henry John|
You are very welcome. I found no sign of a Mrs. Henry. John was in plot 246D. To his left was Jody Beem 246C and to his right was Alberta Williams plot 247A. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure I understand your message. Julia Edwards Baker and Julia Catherine Edwards Cook are two different individuals.

Yes, the gravestone photo shows "Farquhar McKenzie". As explained in the caption for that photo, that same cemetery lot is shared with two other people, one of which is Ruth Smith. If you wish, I can remove that photo. Regards, Greg.

Thank You for calling this to my attention. Someone placed a picture for her memorial in Martinsville Friends cemetery, however, I doubt that this is her tombstone sense it does not look as if it says Coffin on it.
She was listed by the Historical Society as being buried in Martinsville Friends Cemetery. I will have to further research this and I cannot do that at this time, so I am asking one of her distant family members to help me on it.
When we find out for sure where she is buried, I will have to delete my memorial and all of the work put into it. Pleased give us some leaway on this for research. Thank You.

Yes - I'm finding quite a few burials without any gravestone or marker in this Cemetery. But I'm endeavoring to respond to all of the Requests one way or another. Plodding on...
|Gloria Kidder||Re: Janney Coffin duplicate|
