"We can't resist this rifling around in the past, sifting the untrustworthy evidence, linking stray names and questionable dates and anecdotes together, hanging on to threads, insisting on being joined to dead people and therefore to life."

Thank you for the picture.

I ended up taking a ton of pictures of the marker trying to make it out if you want those to see if can make it clearer to read. Hubby and I plan on going back this weekend with paper to do a rubbing to try to read it better.

I changed the cemetery for Ann. My mistake.
Thank you ever so much,
|Nancy Yankie Sidarous||RE: Rhoda Haden|
Hi, Linda - I found the answer. Hinchey married Rhoda Adaline Aug 7, 1833 and she was born in 1810. They had a daughter in 1851 whom they named Rhoda Adaline Rivers; she married in 1871 and died in 1914. The repetition of names in my family, no matter how off-the-wall they may be is mind boggling.
There's another question solved! Thanks so much, Nancy

Thank you for your kind note. Because his mother's name and his were written on the back of the photograph and you had that exact info in your
memorial, I was able to match him to his
grave. Isn't it a darling photo? I bet
he was an amazing person. I truly hope one
day a family member will find him and smile!

You are most welcome. Glad to help. I am surveying and photographing as much of Maplewood cemetery as I can, time permitting. it's such a big cemetery, I figure this is a lifetime project!

I registered as a photo volunteer in my area and hope to be able to "pay it forward" for someone else!
|Mary Wells Webb||Barker family|
Just wondered if you are related to the Barkers. There are several folks buried in the Wells Cemetery that I don't know of any connection they have to the Wells family. Just wondered if you might know. Also, if they are relatives I would be happy to transfer them to you.
