Please visit Susie's brother (Susie&Bazil), who just passed away. I am so sad for her and her family. Thank you. JAMES BORDERS|
SANDRA'S husband was in a terrible accident at work and fell three stories. The other person with him died, and Jim is in very critical condition. Please remember this family in your prayers. Update from another bio page states Jim's vital signs have improved a tiny little bit. Please keep him in your prayers. (11-29-13)

Thank you for your sweet message. I'm not here very much, but I never forget my dear friends, like you. I wish you a wonderful Christmas, and a happy, healthy new year. Love, Pam
That's awesome! Not the best part of town now, though! Are you still in the city?

Thank you very much! Merry Christmas!
|purple-lady||RE: Hi Ruth!|
Nice hearing from you Rosie and boy, do we have so much in common. I too, have droopy eyelids & wanted to ask the doctor if anything could be done as it seemed to impair my vision, but so much was going on that I forgot to ask him, but I still have time before all of this is over. [Was that surgery considered PLASTIC or MEDICAL surgery? Insurance purposes?] I only know one person who had that done & she sees so much better now. I'm just so thankful that I no longer have to use a magnifying glass to see small print & especially on Findagrave. However, things are still a little fuzzy & hoping that will clear up. Seems the drops are making it worse [probably my imagination]
Well Rosie, when both of us get done with our 'procecures' we'll be all set for anything that comes our way. And you'll be all healed just in time for XMAS & all things will be coming up roses!
I noticed your message to Elsie & I'm glad you wrote her about your experiences. Everyone's vision & eye problems are different but the cataract surgery will surely help, just a matter of finally getting it done, I suppose.
Best wishes to you and yours for a Merry Christmas & a Joyful, Peaceful & Prosperous 2014 New Year. Love & Hugs
|Digger||RE: Hi Elsie,|
Thanks for your message. Indeed any comments are appreciated and so helpful. My vision problems for now are mostly close up and my distant vision is okay but I do notice it getting worse. The drops that I use for Glaucoma tends to dry my eyes; thus using my eyes for any reading or computer tends to makes the dryness worse.
Add cataracts to the problems and I tend to be in the drs office quite frequently for checkups. I recently got new glasses to help with vision problems so hoping this will give me a brief respite. But the dr at the vision/glass center said that the glasses would not help for very long with the cataract problem. For now we will just wait and see. In my youth I would not have hesitated to go in for immediate surgery but somehow the aging process has put the "FEAR" of surgery for anything in me.
Thanks for taking time to share your experience with me. It is so appreciated.
Merry Christmas to you and you family.

How sweet Rosie, blessings to you and your family too.
|Algernon and Conan Together on the Rainbow Bridge||Hello Rosie|
Thank you for leaving that nice token for Gina Bean. That was a wonderful Christmas token that M.W. created and I hadn't seen it for awhile and it brought back fond memories. I appreciate you holding on to this token for me. You are very kind, Rosie.
I LOVE that picture of the house you have on your grandmother's page! How fun are those! Where is this house? Do you remember? Is it still standing? LOVE seeing old houses :)

|purple-lady||RE: Hi Ruth,|
Hi Rosie, thanks so much for your prayers, well wishes & concern. Please read the short note on my Bio regarding results of Surgery.
You were instrumental in me finally getting this Surgery done. If I had not taken a chance in sending you a public message regarding my concerns, I would still be a "scaredy cat' and would NOT have had it done. You were right, the entire procedure was a 'snap'. and I have still had no pain, as I had made myself sick with nervousness the DAY OF SURGERY. My outcome may not have been as spectacular as yours, but I can see so much better, who would believe the difference, until they have it done?? Thanks again & I truly appreciate your taking the time to explain so much to me.
Have a nice day & a great week-end. I know I'll be out & about for sure! LOL LOL
Bye for now.
