Bio Photo Friends, you are invited to visit the memorial page for our son
Nathan Peurifoy He died unexpectedly in October 2014 at age 26 from a diabetic coma. In six months I lost my mother and my son.
Thank you all for your prayers, friendship and care. It is appreciated.

The life of a person is more than the dash between two dates. It is my hope that the memorials which I create or manage can make the individuals life fuller, even if just linking to family members or adding a few tidbits of information. Researching and including other family information makes them more than graves, they are people. Suggestions are welcome but please submit them using the edit button at the upper right corner of each memorial.
Even when transcribing cemeteries I work hard to link other family members.
I live in the northwestern mountains of North Carolina and have work primarily in cemeteries there. My current focus is Carolina Memorial Park in Concord, North Carolina. There are 30,000 graves but only about 17,500+ listed. I've done more than 4,000 of those. Much of my family is buried there. I am also focusing on Salisbury National Cemetery Annex.
I'm not about numbers. For seven years I cared for my elderly mother who had Alzheimer's. She wanted to go out but I could not trust a Mall or other public places, so we went to cemeteries where I took pictures. During the evenings, when I could not leave the house, I would upload the pictures to my computer and fill out spreadsheets. Since her passing two years ago I am not as active and have given a lot of time to upload my backlog of pictures, which I have reduced from over 4,000 to about 1,000. It's time consuming as I edit ever picture I upload. I am not related to most of my memorials.

=================================================

My family can be traced back 46 generations to County Leichester, England. The family is English/Norman. They came to England with William after the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The photo above is my ancestor, Sir Nicholas Purefoy, buried in The Church of St. Michael and all Angels in Fenny Drayton, Co. Leicestershire, England. The spelling of my name is the most rare of the three family groups: Purefoy, Purifoy and Peurifoy. The early Purefoys were in Jamestown, VA long before the Hugonaut movement.
On my paternal side I am interested in the Peurifoy, Purifoy, Purefoy, Scott and Suther families.
For my maternal side are Statons, Stiller's,and Moores (from Stanly Co, NC).
My wife is from the Byrd and Carr families of Duplin County, NC.
You are invited to visit the memorials of my grandmother Lillian Scott Peurifoy, my mother
Hazel Staton Peurifoy
and Father Robert Eugene Peurifoy.

Photos of graves are free to use. However, personal photos of individuals are copyrighted by this writer and can only be used on other sites by written request via email (not "public messages on my personal page) and acknowledgement of original owner of the photograph.

Thanks to all who help with my typo, mistakes and incorrect links. I could not accomplish this without your help.

Proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders.

RE: Robert Servatius memorial
Hello Robert,
He died just under 5 years ago so that may be why you don't have his picture.
And it was just fulfilled by H W, thank you anyway.
Sincerely,
Mike

RE: Robert Servatius photo request
I had one transferred to me the other day. Funny think, I didnt ask for it. I was just pointing out that it was a duplicate.
The C1 Row A's at the Annex are usually hard. A heavy overcast day is the best, otherwise you can have really hard shadow lines. Such as on I had to day.
Fill me on on the photo you may need. I'll be more than happy to help you if I can.

RE: Robert Servatius memorial
Hello Robert,
Thank you for the update, I should have been more careful when creating his memorial.
I found how to fix it but didn't receive your edit request.
Do you take pictures there?
I'd like to get his headstone eventually.
Thanks,
Mike

History
Hi Robert,
I hope you had a good night. It was real hot here yesterday. My husband quit work around 10
he was so wet we had to put his boots on the warmer boot stand. could wring water out of his clothes.
I had noticed the same things about the Suther & Moose family. I thought that it nay have been
land that they moved for.
Enough from here, stay cool

RE: Robert Servatius photo request
I was going to add, I try the same here even to the point of calling the older one "Historic" as do some of the road signs.
Sadly it does not help either.
I usually make an attempt or two at correlating the error, but most of then go unheeded.
I had one from Brookhill that the manager of the page just up and transferred it to me. Turns out it's a duplicate.
Thanks again for all you do here.
