I am originally from Northeast Colorado (Sterling), but have been living in Southwest Kansas (Garden City)for 34 years now. I enjoy taking these photos because it allows me to visit different cemeteries in the surrounding areas where I live and learn about history. I also love helping those out that are too far away.|

|Marcia Sloan Bascom||RE: Richard Norman Dean|
Thanks. I was wondering how you did the original memorial? was this based on cemetery info only?
|Marcia Sloan Bascom||Richard Norman Dean|
I noticed you put in the info for Richard Norman Dean's grave site. I put in a photo request but they could not find the grave based on the locator listed in his memorial. Why do you think that is?
Norman was a boy who died at 10 yrs old, an only child in the Sadie and Jerry Taylor family. Thanks for your efforts to help!]

we've found Lt. Herbert Herman's daughter (Michele Adkins Herman) in Hemat (CA). She lives there with her family. We're now in touch and she's trying to plan the trip to Italy with help of friends. We hope she could be here next August for the commemoration.
Thanks for the pic, we were trying to track other relatives of Lt. Herbert Herman in Garden City (the Finney County Historical Museum told me that still lives there his sister-in-law with her family: still waiting for confirmation).
